Feed My Starving Children offers hope to the hungry in body around the world, and the hungry in spirit right here at home. In 2007, 185,000 volunteers—more than half of which were under age 18—manually assembled 43 million meals for hungry children, helping to heal the world of the hurt of hunger.
We regularly receive letters from volunteers, partners and recipients of our food indicating what a powerful impact FMSC has had in their lives. Here is what some of them say:
I’m the Director of a non-profit Jewish youth organization in St. Louis Park (BBYO- B’nai B’rith Youth Organization) and some of my teens have volunteered at FMSC this year. The boys had a great time on April 11 and really appreciated the opportunity. Not only was this a great learning experience and a mitzvah, it was also a lot of fun and something new and different for BBYO. Thanks again for the opportunity.

Thank you! Thank you! The packets of food arrived safely through the saliesanos and will be in Flores de Villa today. There were absolutely no problems in customs or with the equitable division of the container by Monolo Cielo and his crew. We have already complied a database of malnourished children and elderly in close proximity of the Medical Post. However, this Sunday we will again be canvassing the neighborhoods of all the neighboring pueblos as well, in search of those who are the neediest.
In one week we will be having our cook-off to see who comes up with the best (economical and taste) recipe using the packet. Then, we will have a demonstration in the medical post of its proper use and preparation. In August distribution will begin!! We plan to follow up on all families to continue to check if they are using the packets as they should be. Also, following up with de-parasiting, de-worming, general health issues, etc. We recognize it takes at least 3 months of vigilance to recoup a malnourished child and there will be less stress in these poverty-ridden homes.
We promise to make this gift multiply.
In the service of our Precious Lord and with much gratitude.

I had been praying that God would reveal to me a way that our family could serve Him together. My prayer was answered when a friend invited us to the grand opening of the FMSC Center in Eagan. I knew it was where God wanted us to be the moment I walked though the door. Since then, I have had the privilege of packaging nutritious meals that feed the poorest of the poor with my children, our home schooling group, several families from our neighborhood and with my team from work. It has been a blessing and honor to serve the Lord by helping to feed His children both spiritually and physically and a joy to see how our family is developing a passion for serving our Lord and Savior.
