Dear Friends in Christ,
Have you ever witnessed the thrill of child who has just finished writing their name for the first time? It’s a moment filled with pride for both child and parent or grandparent. Now imagine how hard it would be for that child to concentrate and learn how to write if they hadn’t eaten - in days.
In Uganda, thousands of children want to learn how to read and write, but they are more worried about where their next meal will come from. You can help change that.
Ugandan missionaries share heartwarming stories about how children in their orphanages are thriving physically and mentally after receiving meals from Feed My Starving Children (FMSC).
One special child, Priscilla, is in 6th grade. She was diagnosed with HIV as a young girl. Both her parents died of AIDS. Priscilla’s only food is the one meal provided by FMSC at school each day. Late last year, due to HIV complications, her brain swelled so much that she was hospitalized. God intervened and Priscilla recovered. She went back to school.
Priscilla is the kind of girl a parent or grandparent would surely love. If you’d like to learn more about her, watch “Priscilla’s Story” on our Video Library.
Priscilla is currently doing very well. She is a joyful young lady who always smiles, lends a hand, and shares what little she has with other kids. She is excelling in school. Without your donations, her story wouldn’t be the same. Your support helps Priscilla and thousands of other children survive and thrive.
Thanks to the generosity of FMSC's volunteers and donors, thousands of kids receive nutritious meals every day. The children’s health and sense of hope has greatly improved as a direct result of the FMSC food.
Please prayerfully consider joining us in feeding thousands of children like Priscilla. Together we can feed God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit.
