Meet our amazing executive team! 

Mark Crea – Executive Director/CEO

Mark Crea

Mark became the Executive Director/CEO of Feed My Starving Children in 2004. Throughout the past 12 years he has led the organization to 46 percent year-over-year growth. Mark has 38 years of experience managing non-profit organizations and raising funds. As a man of faith, Mark is passionate about helping the most vulnerable in Jesus’ name. Before joining FMSC, Mark held director positions in marketing and development at a number of corporations and national non-profit organizations, including Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life and the Hazelden Foundation.

Laura Bernard – Vice President of Manufacturing

Laura Bernard

Laura joined Feed My Starving Children in 2005. She is currently responsible for the Manufacturing department and oversees food packaging operations at FMSC’s seven permanent packing sites and nationwide MobilePack program. Laura first served as a part-time event team leader in Eagan, Minn., then as a MobilePack supervisor, manager and most recently as the director of mobile manufacturing. Laura has more than 10 years of non-profit experience, including sitting on the board of directors for The Danish American Center, Danebod Folk Camp and Latreia. She is passionate about the mission of Feed My Starving Children and providing an opportunity for volunteers to use their own two hands to make a difference.

Andy Carr – Vice President of Development & Marketing 

Andy Carr
Andy is the Vice President of Development and Marketing for FMSC. He is responsible for all aspects of fundraising and marketing for the organization. He joined FMSC in June of 2013 after volunteering and supporting FMSC since 2005. Andy was formerly the Executive Vice President of AIR-serv Group, LLC, a position he held since August of 2006. In that role he was responsible for all aspects of sales and marketing for the company. Andy helped establish a global sales force for AIR-serv and spearheaded the company’s involvement in various trade associations and industry events worldwide. Prior to joining AIR-serv, Andy was employed for 15 years in the waste services industry with companies such as Waste Management and Browning Ferris Industries (BFI). 

Matt Muraski – Vice President of International Programs & Supply Chain

Matt Muraski
Matt Muraski is the Vice President of International Programs and Supply Chain for FMSC. In his current position he is responsible for the distribution of FMSC food products through a global network of distribution partners that serve in more than 45 countries. Prior to joining FMSC in 2006, Matt spent 22 years in the medical device manufacturing industry, specializing in manufacturing, logistics and engineering management. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from Lesley University.  

Jeanie Picardi – Vice President of Human Resources 

Jeanie Picardi
Jeanie joined Feed My Starving Children in 2004. She is currently responsible for the Human Resources department and oversees several administrative functions, including gift entries and receptionist positions. Jeanie has more than 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector. She has served in various additional leadership capacities including public relations, fundraising and community organizing. She is passionate about serving God’s children through the ministry of Feed My Starving Children.

Dan Stennes-Rogness – Vice President of Finance/CFO 

Dan Stennes-Rogness
Dan joined FMSC in March of 2014 as Senior Director of Finance. Before coming on staff, Dan served for four years on the Finance Committee at FMSC. Dan is responsible for all financial activities of the organization, including internal and external financial reporting, audits, budgets, forecasts, treasury management, regulatory filings, risk management and information technology. Prior to joining FMSC he was the CFO for Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation. Dan has 29 years of experience in the non-profit sector.
