An update on our Haiti earthquake relief efforts:

  • When the earthquake hit Haiti on January 12, 3 million FMSC meals were already on the ground with our Haiti-based mission partners.
  • Since the earthquake hit, 7 million meals have been shipped to Haiti from FMSC warehouses.
  • Millions of meals have continued to ship, and are being distributed to Haiti for disaster relief (Photo: Andy Olsen/NWHCM staff ).
  • On average in 2009, FMSC sent 11 shipments a month to Haiti. In March 2010 alone, FMSC sent 23 shipments in response to the earthquake!

We are calling you to donate time and money for life-saving meals in the coming weeks and months.

  • Volunteer at one of our permanent sites in the Twin Cities (MN) or Chicagoland (IL). We especially need the support of your volunteer groups this spring and summer.

  • Make a donation to help us produce these meals.
