Christmas Around the World Viewing Party Toolkit
Dear Viewing Party Host,
Thank you for hosting a viewing party for this year’s Christmas Around the World virtual experience. I believe this will be a Christmas celebration you and your guests will remember.
Like so many other areas of life, the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way FMSC organizes events. In-person gatherings are now virtual experiences touching lives across the country and around the world. And viewing parties like yours are at the heart of it all — small groups of individuals who care about God’s kids and want to engage deeply.
I hope you have an enjoyable time with your friends and family as you virtually travel together to experience Christmas traditions across the globe.
We’ll meet kids, families and FMSC partners in Belize, Eswatini and Nicaragua. Check out the program below for more details. One of my favorite parts is the nativity play — I know you’ll love it too.

Below, you'll find the full digital toolkit. Before you get started, make sure to review the viewing party host checklist. Follow each step to ensure your party is a success. If you haven't already, you should receive a mailed toolkit with a collection of printed items. Most of those are included here in the digital toolkit, allowing you to print more if needed. A few items are only available in the printed toolkit.
Viewing Party Host Checklist
Before the event
- Explore your toolkit. From FMSC background information to event programs to handmade ornaments by FMSC MarketPlace™ artisans — this toolkit has the details you need to make your party a success! Here you will find digital versions of most of the pieces contained in the toolkit you should be receiving or have received in the mail.
- Invite your guests. Send emails, make some calls or invite them in person — doesn’t matter how you invite your guests, just get started! Below you'll find a printable invite you can customize and distribute to your friends.
- Set up. Be sure your guests have access to everything they’ll need to get to know FMSC and fund meals for kids. Share the brochures, program, info pages and donation cards included in your toolkit. Need extras? Find printable versions of most materials below (donation cards are available only in the printed toolkit).
During the event
- Join the virtual experience. Head to fmsc.org/worldchristmas. Preshow starts at 6:45 p.m. CT, with the virtual experience at 7 p.m. CT.
- Start bidding. The FMSC MarketPlace™ auction opens on November 8 and closes December 3 at 11:59 p.m. Encourage your guests to place their bids on unique packages that support artisans and feed kids.
- Get social! Share your evening on social media, using #FMSCWorldChristmas.
- Stick around. After the virtual experience ends, head to fmsc.org/worldchristmas/zoom to join a live, interactive Zoom conversation.
After the event
- Submit the names and email addresses of your guests over age 18 and receive a $25 MarketPlace™ gift card! Our team may reach out to thank your guests for their participation, but submitting their information will not automatically add them to our marketing communications list. Be sure to complete the form by December 6 to receive your FMSC MarketPlace™ gift card! Complete the form
- Say thanks! Your printed toolkit includes FMSC note cards to make it easy to send your guests a thank-you note after your party. (Note cards are not available in the digital toolkit.)
