J.J. Slag – Executive Director/CEO

J.J. began serving as FMSC CEO in January 2025. He was most recently the Sr. Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Development at another Christian nonprofit, MN Adult and Teen Challenge, and also brings 20 years of pastoral experience. J.J. has a deep passion for the FMSC mission to feed God’s hungry children and has volunteered in FMSC packing rooms for years with his family, church and business groups. He and his wife, Cheri, have five children and one precious grandson.
Lisa Stender – Chief Operating Officer

Lisa is FMSC's Chief Operating Officer. She oversees the people and processes that drive the production and packing of all MannaPack® meals. Prior to joining FMSC in 2013, Lisa spent the bulk of her career in store operations for Target Corporation. She is passionate about equipping others to grow and thrive — from the Manufacturing team to packing volunteers to the children, families and communities FMSC serves around the world.
Joan Bochenski – Vice President of Site Manufacturing

Joan Bochenski is the Vice-President of Manufacturing for FMSC. She oversees the people and processes that drive the production and packing of MannaPack meals at our permanent sites and our machine packing operation. Joan joined FMSC in 2018. She has more than 25 years in leadership roles in manufacturing, retail and corporate organizations. She is passionate about using the gifts of our employees and engaging our volunteers in our mission to feed more of God’s children.
Rob Hall – Vice President of Supply Chain

Rob is the Vice President of Supply Chain and is responsible for purchasing, logistics and production planning operations at FMSC. Rob joined FMSC in September of 2016 and has served as Buyer and Purchasing Manager during his tenure. Prior to joining FMSC, he spent over 20 years in supply chain leadership roles that span buying, asset recovery, facility management and vendor partner management functions. He strives to maximize supply chain operations through process improvements, cost reductions and establishing strong, comprehensive vendor relationships. He is passionate about FMSC’s mission of feeding body and spirit through our production and distribution of MannaPack© meals throughout the globe.
Laura Kern – Vice President of Human Resources

As Vice President of Human Resources, Laura advances FMSC’s global mission by empowering, engaging, and equipping a community of talented, dedicated staff. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Human Resources. Laura is energized by fostering a thriving workplace where we live FMSC’s values, contribute to a meaningful mission, and are inspired to make a lasting impact on communities around the world.
Junior Obrand – Vice President of International Programs

Junior is the Vice President of International Programs and has been with FMSC since 2012. He oversees the distribution process of FMSC food products to our partners in more than 70 countries around the world. Junior is committed to helping and equipping our partners reach more people in need — from food distribution to collaborative programs and projects that maximize FMSC’s impact around the world. Junior was born and raised in Haiti. Prior to joining FMSC, he worked in various humanitarian capacities, including serving as a multilingual interpreter in and outside of the United States.
Christina Parmley – Vice President of Marketing and Communications

Christina is the Vice President of Marketing and Communications. She oversees brand strategy, marketing, communications, and supporter engagement to strengthen FMSC’s voice and deepen relationships with donors and volunteers. Prior to joining FMSC, Christina led global marketing and brand teams in the life sciences and financial services industries, driving growth through brand vision, omnichannel campaigns and authentic engagement.
Justin Quintana – Vice President of Mobile Manufacturing

Justin is the Vice President of Mobile Manufacturing. He oversees MobilePack™ operations across the nation. He has been with FMSC since 2012 and has served in a variety of roles in Site Manufacturing, MobilePack Development and MobilePack Operations. Prior to FMSC, he spent more than 15 years in leadership roles in luxury retail and food service organizations. He values consistent innovation and empowering others to become world changers.
Barb Shimshock – Vice President of Development

Barb Shimshock is the Vice President of Development. Barb joined the FMSC Development team in 2008 and has been inviting supporters into a deeper ministry ever since. Prior to her role at FMSC, she worked for over 20 years in sales and marketing management for consumer products companies in the Twin Cities. She also holds an MBA from St. Thomas University. Barb uses her skills and passion for feeding kids hungry in body and spirit in her work of managing the fundraising and development activities for FMSC.
Dan Stennes-Rogness – Vice President of Finance/CFO

Dan joined FMSC in March of 2014 as Senior Director of Finance. Before coming on staff, Dan served for four years on the Finance Committee at FMSC. Dan is responsible for all financial activities of the organization, including internal and external financial reporting, audits, budgets, forecasts, treasury management, regulatory filings, risk management and information technology. Prior to joining FMSC he was the CFO for Minneapolis Heart Institute Foundation. Dan has 29 years of experience in the nonprofit sector.
