How to host a successful meal packing event
Dear FMSC MobilePack™ Hosts,
I want to take a moment to thank you and remind you just how powerful your role is in this mission.
Every box packed, every volunteer welcomed, every hour spent organizing your MobilePack™ event fuels hope and connects your community to a global movement. Your efforts help children receive life-changing meals, nourish families and strengthen communities.
Your leadership and compassion create a ripple effect that transforms lives. We are deeply grateful to walk alongside you and your community in this work.
Until all are fed,

Advice From Other MobilePack Hosts
FMSC staff are very helpful and knowledgeable when setting this up for the first time.”
DO IT. FMSC is so easy to work with, and it's a wonderful event for your organization AND the many people it benefits.”
“It is life- and perspective-changing for individuals and our community as a whole. Very unifying activity!”
If God's putting it on your heart, do it. He will have the funding come through. The relationships and connections people make are amazing and the realization that they can make a difference and change the life of someone one meal at a time.”
It's taken a while, but from a few true believers, we reached the point (during and after our fifth event) that it became clear FMSC is in the DNA (in terms of programs/ministries) of our church. The congregation applauds our success and clearly looks forward to next year!”
Do it. Work hard for a few hours, have fun and impact the world. I saw these MannaPacks being used in Honduras. They are saving and changing lives.”
Focus on the local relationship building aspects as much as the global impact of the event. In America, we live in a lonely, isolated culture. May this be the church’s finest hour shining the light and hope of Christ in the midst of anger, division, and isolation. The MobilePack brings people together more effectively and efficiently than anything else I’ve experienced. Remember that local impact as you’re planning and intentionally build relationships.”
Have a large enough planning group to spread the responsibilities. Try to get representatives from different churches or community groups involved to assist with fundraising.”
It is an awesome event knowing that you are having fun while helping to provide meals for starving children around the world. Two hours of time is not much of a sacrifice for the results.”
Get a good planning team together who are hands on and will work hard. Make sure you are passionate. Seek guidance from FMSC staff coordinators.”
