Stories of Feeding God's Children Hungry in Body & Spirit
FMSC meals are the foundation — not the finish line. Across the globe, FMSC partners are using MannaPack® meals to support long-term solutions — from education to agriculture to local livelihood initiatives. Each meal you pack, fund and pray over equips FMSC partners to do transformative work around the world. Hunger relief is usually just part of what our partners do — but food is the foundation for so much more.
Cambodia | Asia
3.1 million people in Cambodia live on less than $2.70 per day. These numbers actually indicate significant progress in poverty and hunger reduction over recent decades, but a substantial portion of the population remains vulnerable — particularly in rural communities.
Hunger remains widespread, particularly among children. Nearly 10% of kids under 5 are underweight, and 22% are stunted, meaning their growth and development are impacted by chronic malnutrition.
Hunger in Cambodia isn’t just about food access; it’s about food security. Extreme weather, deforestation and poverty all threaten Cambodia’s fragile agricultural systems. When crops fail, families go hungry.
FMSC partners use MannaPack® meals to support work in Cambodia, including:
- Girls’ empowerment and education
- Water and sanitation hygiene (WASH) initiatives
- Technical and vocational training
