Stories of Feeding God's Children Hungry in Body & Spirit

2026 can be the year there was food

Help make 2026 the year there was food

Experts have sobering projections for 2026. About 318 million people are expected to face crisis-level hunger or worse — more than twice as many as in 2019.

But we have seen the difference donors and volunteers make in the lives of kids and families.

  • You feed kids with every box of meals you fund and every time you volunteer.
  • You feed spirits as families around the world are reminded that they are not forgotten.
  • You empower communities as our partners use the stability of daily food to drive long-term, sustainable development that helps families break free from poverty.

In the last year, God has used the generosity of thousands to fund, pack and ship more than 375 million MannaPack® meals — enough to feed over a million children a daily meal for a full year.

That number is humbling. It also drives us to ask:

What does a year mean to a hungry kid?

For a hungry child, a year is counted in meals, not months.

It’s hundreds of mornings either finding food or going without.

It’s the difference between falling behind or having enough strength to learn, grow and simply be a child.

Throughout 2025, we’ve watched radical generosity turn a hard year into a very different story for children and families.

Gifts are carefully stewarded

FMSC receives no government funding. Every yes to a request for food comes from people like you choosing to give. Our team works hard to stretch every dollar into as many meals as possible and to send them where we know they’ll make an impact.

Would you make your first gift of the year today, so we can plan boldly and send more meals wherever the need is greatest?

This is what your early gift does: It lets us say yes faster when partners ask, “Can you send more meals?”

Your generosity now will help decide how many children can look back and say, “This was the year there was food.”
