Your gift of FMSC meals changed Lauza’s life.

She plays with her friends and giggles like every little girl should. She’s adorable – and flourishing!

Our food partner says she is getting quite confident. Lauza has transformed from a shy child who wouldn’t smile to one who is full of laughter and never hesitates to give a hug. It’s the most beautiful transformation.

Lauza’s teacher Jane tells us she is outgoing and works hard in school.

“Lauza is one my best students! She is very calm yet has a great sense of humor," Jane said. "She is social and so loving. She is always attentive in class, actively participating in all class activities. She is very polite! And a leader among the other children. I am sure she will progress well.”

When we first introduced you to Lauza in 2016, the 2-year-old weighed just 13 pounds. 

Even after she began eating FMSC meals through our partner, African Children Today, she wouldn't smile.

Now she is full of laughter.  What a difference three years makes!
