Birthdays, work events, lemonade stands and 5ks are just a few of the times you might be thinking about starting a fundraiser. It’s not hard to find other people out there willing to give to a cause like feeding hungry kids, so all you’ll need is an online page to do it!

Follow the 3 simple steps to start your fundraiser page today.

1. Select the right page type for you

Visit fmsc.org/fundraise to get started. Before you click on anything, you need to decide how you’re fundraising:

If you’re fundraising as an individual, you can proceed directly to step two!

If you’re running a fundraiser as a business, you’ll need to visit our business fundraiser page to continue from there.

2. Choose your fundraiser type

Clicking the BECOME A FUNDRAISER button gives you three options:

• Individual: you are starting a page and running it as your own personal campaign
• Join a Team: you already know someone who started a fundraiser page and they want you to participate (this is not for donating, but for actively participating in the fundraiser and page details)
• Create a Team: you want to start a page for multiple people to access

Select the one that is right for you then sign in or create an account.

3. Decide your fundraiser details

You’ll then be asked for details about your fundraiser. Fill out the form and click FINISH to activate your page! Review the video if you have questions.

The MANAGE button in the top right allows you to add and edit details. (Always save!)

Don’t forget to share your fundraiser

You can’t get started fundraising until you share it! Share the URL itself or click any of the share links on the right side of your fundraising page to social media.
