Stories of Feeding God's Children Hungry in Body & Spirit

FMSC Hunger Bulletin | January 2026

Each meal you pack, fund and pray over equips FMSC partners to do transformative work around the world. Hunger relief is usually just part of what our partners do — but food is the foundation for so much more.

Food security and education go hand in hand

When hunger rises, education slips. When education dips, hunger deepens.

January 24 was International Day of Education. It’s a reminder that for many children, learning depends on something basic: food.

For many students, meals served at school are their most reliable food source. A recent survey showed that nearly one third of all FMSC meals are served in schools or after-school programs. Food keeps children showing up, paying attention and moving forward.

29¢ provides a meal.
$106 funds a daily school meal for a year (including weekends).
$2,255 feeds a classroom of 21 for a year.

Each meal you pack, fund and pray over helps children survive today and stay in school tomorrow. Food is the foundation for so much more.

Haiti | Caribbean

Haiti is facing a layered emergency. When instability makes it unsafe to work or travel, families lose income and food becomes harder to find and afford. Hunger rises quickly and children pay the price.

Right now, food security estimates say 5.7 million people in Haiti are facing crisis-level hunger or worse. Nearly 1.9 million are at emergency levels.

This is just one reason FMSC meals matter in a place like Haiti. We can’t solve every part of a layered crisis, but food is immediate. Food is practical. Food helps a child grow stronger now and keeps education within reach tomorrow.

Your support is providing lifechanging — often lifesaving — meals around the world.

For the protection of our partners and the people they serve, we are not currently sharing any identifying details for FMSC distribution partners in Haiti.
